About the Item

This lovely jug is one of a kind, and its design is simply exquisite. The design is reminiscent of Baroque jugs, but this is a later Art Nouveau jug made around 1890 or earlier. At that time, there was no requirement for hallmarking, so this is a lovely example of a jug from that period. The previous owner was kind enough to share that this jug hails from either Austria or Germany. It's a really nice jug, and it's in great shape for how old it is. The patina is authentic, and it adds such charm and dignity to this jug. The artistic skill of the master craftsman is evident in this valuable jug. It's a lovely decorative piece that would fit right in with the charm of a country kitchen or any home with a touch of nostalgia. I'm so excited for you to experience this unique collector's item from old Europe.
