Comprising a large serving platter and twelve matching oyster plates, all preserved in mint condition, this complete 13-piece service is a rare collector's find and an outstanding example of French ceramic artistry. The richly glazed majolica features warm amber, honey, and chestnut tones, beautifully highlighting the sculptural shell motifs that define the design. Dimensions: Serving platter: 13" diameter (33 cm), 1.2" high (3 cm) Individual plates: 9.44" diameter (24 cm), 0.8" high (2 cm) Founded in 1875, the Longchamp pottery became one of France's most respected ceramic manufacturers, earning an international reputation for its colorful majolica creations inspired by nature. During the 1970s, the factory produced some of its most celebrated oyster services, combining traditional craftsmanship with bold, sculptural forms. Since production ended in the 1980s, complete Longchamp sets have become increasingly sought after by collectors of French majolica, vintage ceramics, and refined European tableware. Whether displayed in a dining room, used for elegant seafood dinners, or added to a serious ceramics collection, this complete Longchamp oyster...

This elegant tableware piece features a single-tier, round form resting on a circular base, with delicately hand-painted interior decorations and gilt trim, exemplifying the exquisite artistry of Sèvres porcelain. The compote’s decorative scheme includes a central allegorical scene inspired by the work of Salvador Rosa, surrounded by a border motif of trailing roses, a pink bowknot, and a blue wreath. Christofle Art Nouveau Silver Spoons, French Sterling Silver Spoons Set of 12

Christofle Art Nouveau Silver Spoons, French Sterling Silver Spoons Set of 12

Located in Miami, FL

A very fine quality set of 12 antique sterling silver tea, coffee or dessert spoons attributed to Christofle, circa 1890-1930. Stunning design and craftsmanship. The handles have sophisticated Art Nouveau Pattern different decor, flowers, vine leaves, bunch of grapes, foliage, decor dahlias. The mark “925” on the bowl confirms that it’s sterling silver (.925 purity). The handle shows ornate floral and foliate engraving, typical of early 20th-century American or European silver flatware. The pattern style — squared edges with raised floral decoration — closely resembles Art Nouveau to early Art Deco transitional designs (roughly 1890s–1930s). The spoon shape (slightly deep oval bowl, short handle relative to bowl size) suggests a bouillon or cream soup spoon, not a teaspoon. Presented in its original box by Prestigious silversmith: A La Gerbe...
