About the Item

Six-piece vintage Ruby cut-to-clear crystal dessert set featuring a prominent central pedestal stand and five matching individual bowls. Centerpiece Tazza: A large, shallow glass fruit or dessert bowl fixed on an elegant, flared silver pedestal stem. Five Small Dessert Bowls in Low-profile, individual serving dishes matching the exact design and coloration of the main bowl. The glass features a vibrant, deep ruby or plum-pink color layer that gives the set a rich, luxurious look. The pedestal stem is crafted from polished, silver with beaded and ribbed band detailing along the neck and foot. The rims of all bowls are shaped with deep, scalloped edges. A continuous row of large, circular ovals is cut through the red glass layer near the top, revealing a stark white-clear frame around each window. The interior floors of the bowls feature faint, linear geometric cuts branching outward from the center like spokes on a wheel. This delicate set will be packed with professional care using heavy-duty bubble wrap and a secure, double-walled shipping box. Hand wash only is strictly recommended to preserve both the silver and the polished glass finish.

Wear consistent with age and use. Very good vintage condition. No cracks, deep scratches, or major fleabites observed along the scalloped edges. The glass retains beautiful clarity and a resonant ring when tapped. The silver pedestal is sturdy and structurally sound.
