About the Item

“Sidona Rest” by D. Dunne is a refined example of 1990s transitional artwork, thoughtfully framed and presented as a signed and numbered edition. Blending elements of traditional composition with contemporary sensibility, the piece reflects the balanced aesthetic that defines transitional design—harmonizing classic structure with modern restraint. The artist’s signature and edition number enhance the work’s collectibility, underscoring its limited-production appeal. The composition conveys a sense of calm and atmosphere, making it an adaptable addition to a variety of interiors. Its framed presentation offers a polished, gallery-ready appearance suitable for immediate installation. Ideal for placement in a living room, bedroom, study, or office, this framed 1990s artwork complements both traditional and contemporary furnishings. It works particularly well in interiors that value layered textures, neutral palettes, and understated sophistication. For collectors and interior designers seeking signed and numbered late 20th-century wall art with versatile decorative appeal, “Sidona Rest” presents an elegant solution—merging period authenticity, transitional style, and refined presentation in a single, thoughtfully executed piece. The names of the two artists are imprinted on the print itself. Pierre Mazeline was a very prolific and refined sculptor of recognized talent, he is also the author of other statues in the gardens of Versailles as the "Apollo of Belvedere and "Europe"; he also executed the equestrian statue of Louis XIV...
