About the Item

Windmill Blades (aka Pineapple Log Cabin) quilt done in wool challis with a cotton print backing. The solid colors make the pattern especially dynamic with the windmill blades truly whirling. The quilt is in excellent condition with two very tiny areas of dark spots. The fabrics are strong. Sewn to the back is a sewn label that says INA. Measurements are 64 inches square. The diagonal stripe border is done with the same logs as the body of the quilt. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880.
