About the Item

Decorate a powder room, hallway, bedroom, or small entry with this elegant antique floral chandelier. Crafted in France circa 1920, the colorful light fixture features a delicate painted metal frame embellished with scrolling vine and leaf decoration, hand-painted porcelain flowers in soft pink, cream, and yellow tones, and faceted crystal pendants throughout. The chandelier is designed with five candle-form lights set around the circular frame, each resting in a flower-form bobeche. The central stem rises in a graceful spiral, decorated with additional porcelain blossoms, leaves, and hanging crystal drops. The lower section is further dressed with clear, amber, and green faceted prisms, adding wonderful color, sparkle, and movement when illuminated. The antique chandelier has been newly wired to U.S. standards and is ready to hang. The fixture is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with beautiful painted finish, charming floral decoration, and wonderful decorative presence.
