About the Item

A most handsome French 19th century Renaissance st. ormolu six light chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a finely chased and etched foliate finial below an elaborate and most decorative pierced and scrolled design with large foliate movements. Each S scrolled arm is adorned with large acanthus leaves and ends in an elegant foliate candle cup. The central fut displays an impressive inverted finial with a twisted and foliated design encased within three scrolled movements with a pierced foliate mount above. All original gilt throughout. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
