About the Item

Elegant French hall lantern from the early 20th century, crafted in finely cast metal with a refined silvered finish. The design is richly ornamented with expressive lion masks and scrolling Rococo motifs, characteristic of the Louis XV style. A particularly striking feature is the decorative crown-form top, which gives the lantern an architectural and regal presence, enhancing its sculptural quality. The cylindrical body is fitted with curved etched glass panels, softly diffusing the light and adding depth and refinement. The lantern is suspended from a later added brass chain. Inside, the fixture is fitted with four E27 light fittings, providing ample illumination. A highly decorative and elegant piece, ideal for an entrance hall, staircase, or refined interior.
