About the Item

This elegant silvered wall sconce, crafted in France circa 1960, is attributed to Maison Baguès. Featuring five gracefully curved metal arms, the design is enhanced by a crystal urn at the base and delicate rosette flowers at the top. The symmetrical scrollwork lends a timeless, classical aesthetic, while floral bobeches with crystal bases add a sophisticated sparkle. The fixture has new wiring and is dressed with decorative candle sleeve covers for an authentic look. The wall sconce is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated silver finish and glass finish. Perfect for a powder room, entryway, or bedroom, this piece combines form and function in exquisite design. Hanging hooks on the back for easy installation. Since 1860, the Maison Baguès has been located in the center of Paris and specializes in the creation of luxury furniture and lighting. Early on, it became the emblem of French Savoir-Faire in wrought iron work and brass, along with French craftsmanship, which is highly valued internationally. Measures: 23" W x 8.5" D x 26.5" H
