Rectangular wall sconce produced in the Italian Mid-Century lighting tradition associated with Murano-adjacent firms such as Toso. The primary element is a cast glass plate featuring a pressed relief surface with geometric and organic patterning — a production technique common to northern Italian glassworks from the 1950s through the 1960s. Three brass bracket clips secure the glass panel directly to the wall-mounted backplate, two at the upper corners and one centered at the base, a simple mounting method characteristic of Italian decorative lighting of the period. The combination of cast relief glass and brass hardware reflects the broader postwar Italian interest in material richness within restrained, functional forms.
