About the Item

Pair of Four-Light Crystal and Bronze Appliques, Italian manufacture from the Early 1900s in perfect condition, restored and electrified to European standards by our workshop. From a wall plate, a bronze casting with curved lines, shaped and in the rocaille taste, departs a volute arm holding the central baluster from which depart four curved volute arms with racemes at the end of which is a double saucer, bronze and crystal ending with an E14 light mounted within faux-wood candle. These are two golden wall lights decorated with a multitude of crystals, festoons connecting the arms, and faceted pendants embellishing them. This pair of antique Italian wall sconces are characterized by an important design that needs the appropriate space, protruding 34 centimeters from the wall. They work with 4 E14 lights each. They are wired with 0.35 mm. wire and are to be hung on the wall with an L-shaped hook that attaches to a plate welded to the back of the plate. They date from the Art Deco era: circa 1920. Height: 57cm Width: 55cm Depth: 34cm We ship from Italy Under Italian law, exporting an art object that is more than 50 years old requires runa government license from the Ministry of Culture, this export license is called BEAUTIFUL ARTS. The bureaucratic time for issuing such a government license is about a couple of weeks, to be added to the order processing time.
