About the Item

Hollywood Regency table lamp by Paul Hanson, USA, 1970s. Gold chrome metal and brass torch-shaped structure with a white hand-blown Murano glass upper diffuser, and 3 lucite disks as a decorative elements, which provides a totally Art Deco and Memphis vibe to this piece. Hollywood Regency, Brutalist and Space Age styles. Very much in the style of the creations of the french designer Jean Perzel. Very much in the style also of the luminaires that Frederick Cooper commercialized in Chicago during the 70s and 80s. Paul Hanson Lighting Company was known for their brilliant lighting designs and creations in New York, where this company was founded in the 1920s. Their lamps have become a very collectible pieces, above all the ones during the Hollywood Regency era, which have a very nice Art Deco Revival style. For one E27 bulb (compatible with E26 bulbs). Original electric installation reviewed and fully operational. LED compatible. Perfect condition. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
