1960s Danish ceramic table lamp by Noomi Backhausen for Søholm This matte ceramic table lamp was designed by Noomi Backhausen for Danish Søholm in the 1960s. Decorated in clear blue and light purple. European wired with socket for E-27 light bulb and is working fine. Sold without the shade. Very good condition. Height: 25 cm (9.8 in) // Diameter: 24 cm (9.4 in). Noomi Backhausen is a Danish artist known for her unique approach to ceramics and textile art. She combines traditional techniques with modern aesthetics, creating works that explore texture, form, and color. Backhausen studied at the School of Applied Arts in Copenhagen, where she honed her craft and developed her distinctive style.
