Pair of Baccarat Style Cut Crystal and Gilt Bronze Table Lamps A sophisticated pair of mid-century Baccarat style cut crystal and gilt bronze table lamps, masterfully composed with architectural proportions and timeless French-inspired elegance. Each lamp features a substantial cylindrical base of deeply cut crystal supporting an elongated baluster-form crystal stem, richly adorned with finely cast gilt bronze collars and classical foliate capitals. The crisp diamond-cut crystal beautifully refracts light, while the mellow gilt bronze has acquired a warm patina that enhances the refined character of the design. Elegant from every angle, these lamps effortlessly bridge traditional and contemporary interiors, making them equally suited to a formal living room, library, bedroom, or entry hall. Their restrained neoclassical detailing allows the brilliance of the crystal craftsmanship to remain the focal point. The lamps are fitted with double sockets and retain their pleated blush silk shades, which display age-related wear and are included as a courtesy. Provenance: Private Collection, 115 Central Park West, New York City. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Crystal remains bright and clear with no visible chips or cracks observed. Gilt bronze presents an attractive aged patina with minor surface wear and light oxidation consistent with age. Pleated silk shades exhibit tears, pulls, and wear from use and are included as a courtesy. Lamps have not been tested and should be inspected by a qualified electrician before installation.
