About the Item

Very impressive eight spoke ships wheel mounted to a geared pedestal. The pedestal head is engraved Dake Engine Company, Grand Haven Michigan, Serial number 7823 with rudder indicator arrow. Entire unit has been meticulously polished and lacquered. Mounted to a thick varnished base. Circa 1930 Weight: 168 lbs. Overall Dimensions: 54" H x 42" W x 19" D Made: America Material: Brass Date: 1930.
