About the Item

In this listing you will find a rare antique Microscope manufactured by W. Klein in Wetzlar. The microscope features a solid brass body that has developed a rich patina and it features Carl Zeiss optical lenses. This is a compound monocular microscope, featuring a black enameled "C" or horseshoe base and brass fittings. This design was common among various manufacturers, and it shares many characteristics with microscopes produced by prominent German and English makers. Made in Germany cca. 1900. The microscope is in overall good condition. There might be bits and pieces missing, as we do not have an expert who would examine it and give us a full estimate of its condition. When purchased the microscope will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package.
