About the Item

Constructed in solid walnut, this impressive chair displays finely turned front legs, elegant arm supports, bulbous hand rests and decorative shell-like sculptures. A decorative spindle gallery beneath the shaped backrest adds further architectural interest to this comfortable sturdy seat. The front turned legs are gadrooned and flow down to an H stretcher below. The chair has been professionally reupholstered in a quality woven Jacobean Garden Gold woven tapestry jacquard upholstery fabric featuring a colourful stylised botanical design and has been re-studded.
