French midcentury Lounge Chair in Leatherette A very comfortable French midcentury Lounge Chair upholstered in leatherette (faux leather) and fixed with brass studs all around. The chair in its tub seat form has an adjustable head rest and a loose lumbar support cushion. To both sides are deep pockets for magazine storage. The armchair sits on black lacquered legs that are gently out-swept. A unique and very comfortable piece. The structure is sound and the upholstery is firm and comfortable with no tears in the fabric. There is some distressing / flaking to the leatherette commensurate with its age - please see photos. Height (floor to top of arm rest): 68 cm Height (with head rest lowered): 83 cm Height (with head rest extended): 100 cm Width: 66 cm Depth: 70 cm circa: Mid-20th century.
