Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning original hand made in England circa 1860-1880 Throne armchair with ornately hand carved Lion Griffin arms Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. This is a super important and highly collectable chair, ideally suited as a sophisticated library or hall chair, it really sets a scene and commands attention based on how large it is and the sublime carvings to the arms The chair is made in the Gothic Revival taste but it is late Victorian, the carvings on the arms are so good I was tempted for a moment to have them removed but it would be a crying shame to damage such a wonderful piece of history We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it’s in good original order, I see nothing negative of note Dimensions Height:- 120cm Width:- 76cm Depth:- 60cm Seat height 40cm, width 60cm, depth 49cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
