Vladimir Kagan “Deco” Chaise, designed in 1973, newly upholstered in a two-tone creamy linear fabric that highlights the chaise’s bold architectural form and sweeping silhouette. The fabric has a soft neutral palette with subtle striated texture, giving the piece depth, warmth, and movement without overpowering the design. The Deco Chaise is a striking example of Kagan’s 1970s design language, when he was pushing upholstered furniture beyond traditional seating and into more sculptural, fluid forms.
