Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate, pair of 'Minore' easy chairs, leather, plywood, wood, Italy, 1961 A truly magnificent piece that scores highly on every design aspect: execution, material use, craftsmanship, and detail. This pair of 'Minore' armchairs is designed by Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate and dates back to 1961. When experienced from the side, the backrest begins with a concave shape and gradually develops into arched legs with a convex shape. This gives the unit its defining, distinctive look, with its pronounced curves and elegant lines. The large seat is executed in a fine brown leather and together with the angular ears and outward-facing armrests, an ultimate level of comfort is guaranteed. The chairs bear witness to the designer's excellent taste for form and harmonic compositions. Please note that these items are in used condition and show signs of wear and damages. Reupholstery and restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
