Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate, 'Minore' easy chair, leather, plywood, wood, Italy, 1961 A truly magnificent piece that scores highly on every design aspect: execution, material use, craftsmanship, and detail. This Minore armchair is designed by Giampiero Vitelli for Rossi di Albizzate and dates back to 1961. When experienced from the side, the backrest begins with a concave shape and gradually develops into arched legs with a convex shape. This gives the unit its defining, distinctive look, with its pronounced curves and elegant lines. The large seat is executed in a fine brown leather and together with the angular ears and outward-facing armrests, an ultimate level of comfort is guaranteed. The chair bears witness to the designer's excellent taste for form and harmonic compositions. Please note that this item is in fair condition with the leather showing tears and stains and the wooden framework contains loose joints. Reupholstery and restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery and restoration is possible as well.
