Waxed aluminum plate throughout. Freestanding. This work is the third and final piece of an edition of three. Produced and named for Mark McDonald — collector and legendary mid-century modern dealer, Hudson, New York. Designed within the formal language of the AM shelf family and developed specifically for McDonald's collection context. Edition of three, each unique in finish specification. This listing is 3/3 — the final work of the edition. The edition structure is rare in the furniture practice, where most works are made to order without edition limits. The Fifty/50 was conceived from the beginning as a finite series. Part of a closed body of work.
