Peter Ilsted, b. Sakskøbing 1861, d. Copenhagen, 1933. "En Regnvejrsdag". A rainy day. Interior with the artist's family, circa 1900. Signed Peter Ilsted. Etching. Visible size: 40 x 48 cm. Total size: 73 x 54. In very good condition Louis Moe was one of the most important book illustrators in the Nordic countries before and around the First World War, especially for fairy tale books with animal motives for children.
