About the Item

These are a set of FOUR digitally remastered prints of Macaws, hand coloured framed prints, originally from Circa 1864. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand painted over the top to give them bright vibrant colours. Reawakening WT Greene’s parrot illustrations and the renowned bird pictures by John James Audubon from the 19th century, these four exquisite macaws make a fabulous gallery wall. The prints have been digitally restored to their former glory, restoring their original colours. They bring a striking splash of colour to any room. Each and every part of these charming portraits is hand cut, printed and assembled in Britain to create pictures of distinction with minimal carbon footprint. To ensure the finest quality and exceptional durability, they are printed using archival grade methods, with a sustainable wood frames so they’re ready to hang. They are framed ready to hang.
