About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.89 carat diamond and platinum pendant; part of our diverse pear cut diamond jewellery collections. This stunning antique Edwardian necklace/pendant has been crafted in platinum. The pendant features a stunning collet set 0.75ct Old European pear cut diamond, encompassed with a scalloped border embellished with ten pavé set Old European round cut diamonds. The feature diamond cluster design is surmounted by an individually collet set Old European round cut diamond. This terminating setting articulates via a linear drop accented to the centre with a further collet set Old European cut diamond. The linear arrangement suspends and articulates from a millegrain decorated collet set 0.28ct Old European round cut diamond, completing the design. The diamond pendant is suspended from a 17' platinum chain via two integrated ring loops to the upper border. This stunning antique Edwardian diamond drop necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This stunning pendant is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition The stunning pendant is exceptional quality, set with an impressive principal diamond displaying fine brilliance and presence. The impressive supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. This stunning antique diamond pendant is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique necklace.
