A magnificent, fine and impressive antique 2.72 carat diamond, platinum and 18 karat white gold set pendant; part of our diverse antique pear cut diamond jewellery collections. This magnificent, fine and impressive antique diamond pendant has been crafted in platinum and 18k white gold. The pierced and millegrain decorated frame is embellished with a stunning collet set 2.20ct Old European pear cut diamond. The feature diamond is encompassed with impressive pavé set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 0.52ct. The pear cut diamond pendant suspends from an 18k white gold 18' fine curb chain via a later added hallmarked 18k white gold plain bale to the upper border of the design, accented with five channel set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. This stunning pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum with an 18k gold chain. This platinum pear cut diamond pendant is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Such stunning and large, very high colour and clarity graded Old European pear cut diamonds are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning antique Edwardian necklace is exceptional quality, set with a very high colour and clarity graded feature diamond displaying a fine white colour, brilliance and presence. The high colour graded supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The pendant is an exceptional gauge of platinum and is in exceptional condition. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning 2.2 carat pear cut diamond pendant.
