Art Nouveau Iridescent Glass Vase by Kralik Sohn, Bohemia — Circa 1900. A superb Bohemian Art Nouveau art glass vase by Wilhelm Kralik Sohn, dating from around 1900. This striking piece features the rare “Eleonorenhain” decoration, a signature technique of the Kralik glassworks that showcases their exceptional mastery of iridescent surface treatments and elegant organic form. Crafted from colorless glass, the vase shimmers with layers of copper, yellow, and violet iridescence, revealing under certain lighting a captivating deep cobalt-blue glow—a visual effect that is nearly impossible to capture in photographs but breathtaking in person. About Wilhelm Kralik Sohn The Wilhelm Kralik Sohn glassworks, based in Eleonorenhain (Bohemia), was one of the foremost producers of Art Nouveau art glass during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Emerging from the storied Meyr’s Neffe glass company, Kralik became synonymous with innovative glass decoration, including textured, marbled, and iridescent finishes that rivaled those of Loetz and Rindskopf.
