About the Item

English late 19th century pedestal-stool that becomes a versatile piece of accent furniture anywhere in the home. The slender form is an ideal scale to use as a bar height stool or to elevate a small houseplant or sculptural artwork, rising on turned and carved legs with strong visual interest of their own. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to maintain the beautiful finish and highlight the undulating swells of the legs. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition and message us with any questions. Top diameter: 11 ½”
